Is it really that important to spend $5000.00 for napkins?
Do you know about the rule of thirds? Do you know how to keep the camera steady while filming? Do you know how to work with people on their wedding day?
Weddings can be stressful for the bride and groom and no one wants to remember their wedding as stressful. Have you ever considered handing the most important item of your day over to a professional? Today there is a concern over the budget, and I also know how important it is to watch the bottom line.
There should certainly be areas of concern, but how important is it to spend $5000.00 for napkins when you could have a professional cover your day for less than one fifth of this amount. If you do hire a professional to document your day, you will be purchasing the experience of this person to document the day through their eyes. Do you want those eyes to have a drink? Do you want those eyes to be sitting down talking to your bridesmaids when important moments of the day are being lost?
This is why it is the most important choice of your day to find the person whose work you like and take this one worry off your mind for your day. If you do pick the right person, you will actually have fun during your day working with them to produce stunning images.
You may have been thinking that I was just speaking of photography. Do not forget that professional photography loses all the AUDIO of your day. Those vows you have said to each other will be lost. Those special moments when you were saying special things to each other will be lost. Since I document weddings with either medium, I would be happy to speak to you regarding the advantages and disadvantages of either format. In fact, I have a package called the Destination Wedding Package where I can document the wedding with both photography and videography. I have done several of these types of events over the past five years, and brides like working with one vendor to capture their day.
Remember that once the last song is played and the tables are taken away, you have already chosen how you wanted this day to be documented. Make the right choice and you will have beautiful memories to remember for the future.
Hopefully you will remember video as a good way to show your children what your wedding day was like and the love that was captured that day will be shown for generations. If I can help you in any way with your decisions, let me know.
